Lainey is almost a year (this coming Wed). We've decided to get her a kiddie pool, because it seems she loves the water. That, and she looks ADORABLE in her swimming suit. Talk about all dressed up with no where to go....
Kirk's parents have a water fountain on their back porch. Lainey loved splashing the water when she first saw it, and since we have no pool for her yet (SHH, it's a SURPRISE!!), I decided I'd put her in her suit and we'd play with the fountain....
She wasn't sure what to make of it when the water splashed in her face....
It was like she looked over to me to make sure she was still having fun.....
But apparently she approved of my reaction, because she continued on as if nothing had bothered her. We played for quite some time, at least until she got frustrated that she couldn't climb INTO the fountain.... guess it's a good thing her birthday is soon.....
I can't believe she's almost a year old already! Wow. I can't wait to see pictures of her in her little pool!
